There have been a lot of new places opening up lately and it’s an exciting time to be in Enid. Here are a few places that have opened recently – be sure to check them out and remember, shop locally! The largest portion of Enid’s income is through sales tax revenue.
J’s Donuts – Indian Hills shopping Center
Schieber’s Donuts – 207 E. Garriott – easily the best roast beef sandwich on the PLANET!
Piaceri Gelato – 1302 N. Grand
CherryBerry – will be open July 8th in Sunset Plaza
Eat A Pita – Sunset Plaza
Blaze’s BBQ – S. Van Buren
Elmer’s BBQ – Leona Mitchell & Garriott
Italian Villa – W. Garriott (next to Chinese buffet)
Taste of Mexico – where the Sage Room used to be
J & T’s Philly Cheese – lobby of the Broadway Tower
Dogtown – coming soon on Maine Street where Bamboogeez used to be
We have a new hair salon, too – Fantastic 5 located at 4707 W Owen K Garriott, in the Bowling Alley Parking lot.
Two antique shops – Dee’s Hidden Treasures on Broadway across from the Broadway Tower and Antiques Plus on Independence by the Frisco.
Bluejay’s Barber Shop & Beauty Bar between the Broadway Tower and the Felt Bird – super cool 50′s style place that does the old fashioned shave.
The Trough – a drinking establishment across from the newspaper offices – they have live music all the time, fun place.
I’m sure I’m leaving some out, but those are the ones I know of right off. If you know of any others, please list them.
